ALCO Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 I have a lot of projects started in LDD. I call them unfinished because I haven't built them with real bricks yet. This is mostly a function of space and funds. This one, I'm sure I'll have to build soon so my wife continues to allow me to build. Since we are both huge Harry Potter fans it's pretty much a given. Still working on the pullman coaches. I'm trying to figure out how to SNOT the windows to give them more detail than the big blocky ones. And I like the dark red/maroon from the movies. So trying to stick with that color scheme. But the next one to be bricked out will be the first one I ever started building....only it has been completely rebuilt from the ground up at least eleventeen times. Not including untold minor revisions along the way as well. This one is all brick-link ready. All I have to do is fill up some carts and go shopping once the funds are secured! Quote

God that thing in blue-render is beautiful. I swear the HP train... Just no one can really agree on a design for it. Quote
Electricsteam Posted February 9, 2016 Author Posted February 9, 2016 I still need to get this thing sorted out. It's in the back of my mind a lot of the time. Bleh I really want to get it done I really can't wait to see this brick built, it's so much better then my last pneumatic train. Just looking back over my mocs over the years I feel like I have improved as a building and this train is what is going to show it Quote

ALCO Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 I love the idea! it's definitely much more realistic and looks like a really great project. Looks like you need some more weight on those drivers though. Quote
Electricsteam Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 Well I just found an old unfinished project. Wayyy old. I tried making a realistic train...... I wasn't happy with it and yall here on the forum didn't seem happy with it at the time so I scrapped it Here is I think..... 4th or 5th Lego train I made? Way old thing. Based on this thing. Quote
M_slug357 Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 What was the gray model (the one above the pennsy) supposed to be? Can't tell if it's steam or diesel Quote
Electricsteam Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 What was the gray model (the one above the pennsy) supposed to be? Can't tell if it's steam or diesel The one with many pictures was suppose to be a steam locomotive. Quote
Electricsteam Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 I need motivation >.< And to test out brick link. I really wan't to finish this freaking pneumatic train. I have all the lists I need to order... I just need the motivation! Quote
vclarke Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 I saw this one on LEGO Ideas, unfortunaly it will not get 10.000 votes, so I had to build it myself. Still missing the roof and something between the boogies and I had to make the roof bley instead of tan. Quote
Cale Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Well, why not. Here it goes. Here is a set of baggage RPO car trucks for the Pennsylvania RR's 1938 Broadway Limited. I actually have more done for the train than this. I have the BM70m Baggage RPO, and the B70 baggage cars done and part of the observation car. This project is on temporary hold. LoneBrickerSG Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 My biggest one personally is this guy USSR ChmE3 diesel. Supposed to be a six-axle unit but I keep having trouble with that, so I leave it at four. Quote
