Johnny 5 Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 This pic's my favourite. The knight has that shining light around him, but he tower still keeps that dark intimidating look. *y* But what the heck is the ground made of? Reminds me of the stuff from StarCraft...~Peace It does give the knight a look of standing for good and the shadows do well to give the tower an inherently evil look. Quote
Hinckley Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Try a thin cotton shirt over the light but for it to work you would need a super bright light. May I also recommend to keep a fire extinguisher handy... :-| Quote
Johnny 5 Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Well dont leave it on there all day... *wacko* :-D Quote
Doctor Sinister Posted October 25, 2007 Author Posted October 25, 2007 Hey hey now. Let's lay off the photoshop users :-P 8-| I'm not knocking it incidentally...your stuff is very cool, clean, precise. Dr. S. But what the heck is the ground made of? Reminds me of the stuff from StarCraft... It's not the ground. It's actually a metal patio table - one of those types with lots of intricate metalwork with holes in. I find it's better for getting shots looking upward to have the subject on a raised area, naturally, and the table was weird enough under the light to sort of add to the unearthly effect. Dr. S. It also reminds me of the blighted ground of the undead faction in Warcraft, which probably comes a lot closer to the theme in the pictures. Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Wow. I would say that putting your Lego in an uncut lawn, like you did for one of your pics, isn't the greatest idea. On the other hand, I do like your experiments. Keep up the good work. Quote
