legojeroen Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 As a follow up to my Dol Guldur moc for the Hobbit part of my layout I've build a small section of lake town and the borders of the Woodland Realm. This is more building a scene around the sets but I tried to rebuild some of the laketown sets to better fit with the movie. Hope you like it! Quote
Staslegomaster Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Why are some of the mini figures without hats or hair pieces? Quote
The Real Walkers Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 A really nice set up :) I particularly like that aerial view and am jealous at the number of Laketown guards you possess :3 Lovely! Quote
legojeroen Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 Why are some of the mini figures without hats or hair pieces? Maybe because they are Gundebald orcs ;) But on a more serious note, some orcs are just bald, like in the movie Quote
Vorkosigan Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Nice way to combine the sets into something cohesive. Quote
SirBlake Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Very nice work! I personally love the idea of building around and enhancing sets, and you nailed it. Quote
Balbo Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Excellent work! I love the expanded Lake Town tower and the Mirkwood section Edited January 10, 2016 by Balbo Quote

Exetrius Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Sweet set-up, the water with the extra bridges and piers is very nice and the minifig scene is packed with action Quote
bricklover Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 That's the best lake town moc I've seen! Quote
