Shipping from Netherlands to United States

Hi guys :-) , I'm a novice at using Bricklink, recently I ordered a set from the Netherlands on bricklink.....it was shipped on 10-08-07 and was wondering how long does it actually take to ship to California. I chose a shipping rate of $10 USD. If any of you have experience with buying goods from europe in the U.S could you give me an estimate? That way I can write to the seller if it goes past that certain deadline. Thanks so much guys :-) I have no idea what to expect :-/

Hey I can't tell you from netherlands, but I sent a package to usa a month ago and it hasn't arrived yet and thus i live in germany, thats right next to netherlands, either the shipping really does take very long, or the us custom is opening each package and lazy sending em on :-/

usually, when i get a package from the USA, it takes about 14 days by airmail, i guess it may be the other way around as well... btw, you may have to pay import tax....

Unless it is a very small item, 10$ usually means surface mail.

That means 4-6 weeks. Sometimes more. + a beaten up box usually.

Let us know when it comes though. Useful to keep track of these things.

One good advice I give , pay that one buck for insurance, it helps.

Based on my experience, 1 to 2 weeks. Maybe a little longer, depending on the size, weight, and shape of package, shipping method, and how quick the seller is at getting stuff sent out :)
