Good evening guys

I was hoping someone on the site could shed some light on how a person who go about trying to get a job at Lego taking product photography?

It's one of those things that should be fairly easy to find out through a little research but I haven't had any luck and I realise that maybe there just not looking for a product photographer but how could I be persistent and try and get my portfolio to the people who would need to see it?

Any help would be much appreciated?

They seem to rely more on renders and artistic impressions these days, rather than photographic images.

Depends on the set. Larger sets almost always use photographs (there have been some rare exceptions over the years, like the Aqua Raiders sets and the "Ultimate Build" Cars sets, which were rendered regardless of size). But smaller sets like Bionicle figures, Mixels, and Nexo Knights "Ultimate" figures tend to use renders pretty much as a rule.

LEGO may also hire ad agencies on a per project basis to do the marketing campaign and materials.

I am a LEGO carer. I care for LEGO.

But on topic: Follow the link above, and good luck!

Good idea to double proof read and spell check before sending your C.V. and cover letter to LEGO.

As some general career advice, networking is key. An employer will hire someone he/she personally know before hiring a stranger, even if that stranger has a strong resume. Also, a lot of jobs are never posted anywhere, so knowing someone in the company can open a lot of doors.
