Well if there is a term already for this, I presume it's not used so often (because I sure don't know it :look:). Then, real recently, actually right before opening this topic , I came up with a neologism for a Lego term that will define the underside of plates in one word (which originated from something that had to do with armpits )… So, let's call it "Studpits:" the indentation where studs interlock to.

Better since as a result of this new term "Studpits," we can have new acronyms like SNOB ("Studpits" Not On Bottom)

So how 'bout it—catchy enough? Or, alternatively, they can be called "Studpots"—tell me which one you think is best, or even share your own.

I like it. If I ever need that word, I'll use it for you.

I will not be using the abbreviation "SNOB".

"SNOT" is just so much fun!

Hey, maybe it will catch on and become official, but I would be just as fine if I turn out being the only using it—thanks :classic:

I've heard them being referred to as antistuds for years...

Ah yes, that is the one I heard probably once a while back.
