xwingyoda Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Strictly speaking PROMO items are not for the direct purpose of making money. They are to PROMOTE product visibility and indirectly to lead to the making of more money. Finally a post that makes sense ;-) I way prefer to see kids having those Lego products rather than Mattel or other brands. The biggest exposure to bricks, the better !! *yoda* Quote
PSPguy Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 *MAJOR SPOILER* TLC is thinking of money. ;-) Quote
natelite Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 if brand promotion is the aim, they should give them away. my kid could use a free lego castle costume for halloween!! no way am i going to spend $50 to buy some lousy lego costume that i can get better quality from disney store for $19.99 or for cheaper for a no-brand product at TRU. seriously, TLC thinks too highly of the peripheral products. a nerf gun lookalike for $19.99 (now on sale for $9.99)??? why don't i just get the original nerf gun from walmart and not during sale for half that??? Johnny 5 Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Wait a minute is this thread about upchucking woodchucks or ugly stationary? Either way entertaining. Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 I can't be bothered to figure out how we came to discuss Woodchucks, when we should be talking about Stationary! X-D Quote

Sir Dillon Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 I agree. Woodchucks arn't even stationary, they move about loads. Except the ones turned to stone by the squirrel wizards. Quote
