Rum Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Hey Lego-Fans, im searching for a cool wall layout for a fire station in modular building. My favorite brick for this is the 1x2 profile brick (http://brickset.com/parts/6000311). But how can i build the corners? These bricks dont have a profile on the 1x1 side, so its looking ugly... Thank you for help! Rum Quote
THERIZE Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I'd see no other way then using a 1x1 brick in the corners. Simple solution and it stands out against all the profile bricks. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 If you use a regular brick that is a good contrasting colour (Say a bley brick with the tan profile bricks) it will look like real-life buildings, the architectural choice on the construction often used contrasting stone at the edges. Quote
MAB Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 The other problem with the pattern on that brick is what happens when you stagger them. It doesn't look as good as when they are just stacked, but obviously less strength for large walls if you do this. Quote
Redhead1982 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 You should go ahead as Peppermint_M suggested, and simply use a contrasting bricks for the corners. Maybe you could use some snoting and make the corners with more details on. Just try different combinations on a smaller corner wall and see how you feel about it. Quote
