Helgrim Siege (CCC XIII)

Seventh gate leading to the Dwarven City of Helgrim is under attack by a malicious Lich lord and his undead minions, while the recently turned peasants distract the guards the undying elite sneak up to the gate, while barred and reinforced it may soon be broken down by one of the Lich lords summoned Bone Golems so the dwarven Copperdrake clan's commander of the guard is speaking some courage into his men.

and extra the defenders and attackers:

The Lich Lord and his 2 favorite minions, 'Chain' and 'Spikes'.

The Undead Army, 4 Elite on the Left and 5 Peasants on the right.

The Dwarven Guards, to the left 4 Arbalists and to the right 4 Guardians.

I had a lot of plans and ideas for this, originally it was going to be underground with an overarching rock cavern but my limited collection (and skill) prevented me from completing that version, then I rebuild it into an outside entrance.

In the end I managed to just barely complete this in time for the deadline and with all the amazing builders entering the CCC I can't help but feel doa, if anybody has any advice or suggestions I always appreciate it and thanks for looking.

edit* final notes, the ballista tower is accessible via the stairs like the lookout tower even though closed off, there is a wooden hatch not visible on the photo's. It may not be clear but 'Chain' is protecting the Lich, and even is pierced by one of the ballista's projectiles.

Really great job! Nice use of colors - the sand green in particular. The structure also looks very Dwarven. I also like the Bone Golems, they remind me of an old miniatures game called MageKnight.
