Jefry Been Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Here is my one of the old MOC projects: Holland Street Quote
Orange Leader Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 You can tell this is a Dutch street by the bicyclists alone. :D I think It's a very nice street and I like the 2nd dark red house the most. Quote
peedeejay Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Beautiful street. Very nice collection of 16 wide modulars! Quote
muffluvin Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 What a lovely collection of 16 wide buildings. Great work. Quote
LegoSjaak Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Great work Jefrey! It is a very recognizable scene you made.. I can tell as i'm from the Netherlands (or Holland)!! Quote
turk187 Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Nice. I recognize lots of the little architectural flourishes you used from various sets, but everything works together really nicely. The minifigs everywhere really bring the thing to life. Quote
Jefry Been Posted December 31, 2015 Author Posted December 31, 2015 (edited) Nice. Yes, I really enlarge a few creator sets and modified few modulars;) Only professional can notice that;)) thanks You can tell this is a Dutch street by the bicyclists alone. :D I think It's a very nice street and I like the 2nd dark red house the most. Thank you! May be you like it because it's a copy of a real LEGO set (market street) :-) Beautiful street. Very nice collection of 16 wide modulars! Thanxx! In fact now there are two more of them, but photosession was made few month ago;) 16 wide format of buildings is my favorite ;))))) Great work Jefrey! It is a very recognizable scene you made.. I can tell as i'm from the Netherlands (or Holland)!! Oh, thank you so much! Very glad to read this from the original sitizen;) I've never been in Holland;( But I really like your architecture ! LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Beautiful creation! The cross logo on the red house looks very nice! Amazing work! Quote
Kristel Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Nice street! My favourites are the dark red and dark blue ones. Quote
DwalinF Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 As I remember, you have new houses. I'm waiting for photos Quote
Jefry Been Posted December 31, 2015 Author Posted December 31, 2015 As I remember, you have new houses. I'm waiting for photos Ye, here they are: Quote
Willworkfortoys Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 This is the stuff dreams are made of. If I had time to build! If I do find time I'm totally stealing the roof idea on the maroon building. It's a great detai! Quote
ReplicaOfLife Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Looks really neat, all of it. I think your reddish brown take on Market Street looks far superior than the original. Quote
Edgarama Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 So very excellent. Reminds me of so many a wonderful walk in The Netherlands. Fantastic work! Quote
Withacee Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I love this work! Could be a street in the centre of a Dutch town like Leiden, Delft, Gouda, Amsterdam, and so on. Great stuff, love the façades, with the different roof fronts. Keep clicking those bricks together. Quote
Legorigs Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I like the buildings, no doubt they look Dutch . But I have my doubts about the traffic. Dutch police is called politie and they are dressed in yellow or white jackets with black leather pants. The Dutch taxis are rarely yellow. I understand the wish for an Ukrainian bank, but I haven't seen one in my country. I hope this challenges you to get more Holland in your Holland street . In case you didn't have intentions to build a "real" Dutch scene, but just Dutchish, I'm cool with that. Quote
legojeroen Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Awesome builds! As we say in Holland: heel mooi! (Very pretty) Quote
LegoSjaak Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 What i see now is that you areusing the roadplates in a clever way.. ofcourse we all use straight ones the most.. and using those T-junctions as a straight roadplate with a parkinglot is a nice idea!! Quote
Dutchiedoughnut Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Looks great! Now, replace the two lane street with a cobblestone street alongside a canal, lined with trees and we're all set ;). The houses look amazing :). Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Cute and cool street scape 'Jefry Been', Brick On ! Quote
