BlockLogo Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 (edited) With most images for winter/spring sets for 2016 available, I'm sure people are compiling lists of what they wanna get the coming months. Here's mine. Advanced models/D2C: Ghostbusters HQ Brick Bank CITY Van with Caravan Rally Car City Park/Playground (pending images) Edited: Gas station CMF ALL OF THEM! CREATOR Corner Deli Park Animals Edited: Lighthouse (pending images) Holiday Destination (pending images) DC All three BvS sets Batcave (pending images) Cycle Chase Cosmic Boy (with movie) Edited: Killer Croc Scarecrow Speed Champions Corvette Mustang Camaro Drag Race Raptor & Model-A Star Wars Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma and Stormtrooper constraction (edited. Gotta have limits! Might still get them for the kids...) Easily four figures worth yet again. And I still have some 2015 and 2014 stuff to gather. And I'm still on the fence about Nexo Knights (maybe King's Mech), Friends (Supermarket, Cafe), and Marvel (CA:CW sets). Those are gonna be hard to resist if I find them at reduced prices. And I'll probably end up picking up some Mighty Macros and Star Wars Micro Fighters for the kids. Dammit. Edited January 4, 2016 by BlockLogo Quote

Dopplercb Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 (edited) Well. It's short right now because I'm both new to Lego and short on cash for official Lego sets, but here is what I'm buying for me: Wall E, now that it is fixed The birds set Now, I know I want a building, but idk which. I'm going to give my parents a list of various sets at various prices for my birthday and let them pick. I'm open to creator sets, architecture sets and friends sets. I also want a farm set. I know that clone brands make farms, but I haven't researched whether Lego does, but I assume they do. My dream set is the death star, but the local Lego store informed me that it is soon to be retired, and once their current stock is gone it won't be replenished. That is heartbreaking. I'd never be able to afford it as a retired, overpriced set. I'd have to save for about 8 months as it is to get it at its retail price now. Edited December 18, 2015 by Dopplercb Quote
BlockLogo Posted December 18, 2015 Author Posted December 18, 2015 There's a new death star coming in 2016 Quote
Dopplercb Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Ooooh. I bet that'll be even more expensive though. Sigh. Quote
Hobbun Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 (edited) The only confirmed one right now for me is the Ghostbusters HQ. But strongly looking at getting Slave 1. Also, thinking about the new Death Star. It depends on how much it differs from 10188 (just bought that about a month and a half ago). Edited December 18, 2015 by Hobbun Quote

Dopplercb Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Does anyone know of any reasonably priced 400-600 piece sets that cost $60 or less not on sale? I could add them to my buy list throughout the year. Quote

I could add them to my buy list throughout the year. I did recommend the First Order Snowspeeder for you. Weird vehicle design beside, this is a good set that fit your requirements and with a 9.0c Price per pieces ratio, this set is the set with the lowest Price per pieces ratio in all the 2015 Star Wars The Force Awakens sets. BlockLogo Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Updated mine in the first post with summer releases. I'm really going to have to be selective because SO MUCH sounds and looks great this year. Gotta stay away from Nexo Knights even though the bad guys look so awesome! Gotta resist the temptation to get those Friends sets for the great parts! Gotta stay away from Marvel and Star Wars and Volcano Research and Ninjago because if I get one or two, I'll wanna collect all of them! 2016 resolution: Limit myself to the DC and smaller licensed themes for the minifigs to give in to my inner collector just a little bit, and get the advanced models, Speed Champions, Creator, and some CITY sets for builds and parts.
