Hello! New to brick collecting

Hey! I'm Leslie. I started collecting Lego sets and clone brands about 3 months ago. I'm poor so I only have one Lego set. It's under the tree and idk what it is yet haha. All the ones I have bought myself have been clones I've come across online, but I'm planning on buying my first official Lego set in January at the Lego store. A birds set. It just looks so fascinating. My favorite sets are pirate ships. I have two of those. I am currently working on an aircraft carrier. My last build was a nano brick pirate ship.

I think I may be a nontraditional brick lover. My being on a limited income (I'm disabled) and having bills take most of that money has left me at the mercy of clones. Except for gifts, haha. But I'm very much looking forward to my first trip to the Lego store for my birds. I think, for my birthday, I'll ask for one of the Lego creator building sets.

Will I be accepted here?

I'm hoping I will. I think I will purchase a box of loose legos too. I think that will get the creative juices flowing.

Though no one has commented on my collection thread. Kinda sad. Lol.
