Corvus Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 No need to. The facts speak for themselves.... :-D :'-( I think UB is busy making the comic, and then... >:-) BTW, I ordered your sigfig the other day. It should be coming soon, so you watch out. :-P Also, is there a story behind the quote in your sig? *wacko* On topic: I can't wait to see how this turns out. This has some real potential, and the lights sound like a good idea. I'm sure once you put in all the detail, it will look amazing. Just make sure you put in some humor, like the passengers playing with the ice on the deck. :-) If you plan to get rid of it, I'm sure you could sell it to somewhere. Maybe a museum featuring a Titanic section, or maybe one of the big lego stores, like the Disneyworld one. :-) Quote

I hope it has the right eyes.... 8-| As for the "quote", that was just Hinkley being a smarty pants and me being one back. I wil delete it now before it causes further confusion. *wacko* Quote

MatthewUSA Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Very, very coooool pics, Dino. I *wub* the craftsmanship the modeler put in the ship. An awesome MOC indeed. Thanks for the pics. Quote
Titanic builder Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 thank you for all the positive comments. I don't think you all know how much it means to me. I think I have found that the LEGO community has the nicest people. Scott out - What are we going to do tonight? The same thing we do every night. TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!!!! Quote

I hope you'll continue to share with us. Thanks. Quote

Titanic builder Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 for the ropes and rope ladders I used a stencel made of LEGO with som DMC from a fabric store. I rane the lines across length wise then long ropes for the rungs. I used a quick dry glue then trimmed the string to size. I thought after I had done it that I should have took pics of the process. TheFrisian Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 From what I saw in the pictures, I already figured you must've used glue. That'll surely offend some LEGO purists, but it's fine by me ;-) Quote

X-D apart from that, very impressive! 8- Quote

Starwars4J Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Actually they knew of the conditions and iceberg beforehand, but the message was ignored by the captain. They knew it was coming, the captain just didn't think it was a real threat... Of course he was watching them. A little free Bow chica bow bow doesn't hurt anyone That too X-D Quote
