The top of the station with air lock, sheild generater, gun turrets and air tanks

Two windows I forgot to take of the other one

the air lock

For play ability it cracks open like the Set # 6441-1: Deep Reef Refuge also the roof is easily taken off

A very crappy lokk of the inside view of the air lock

The sleeping area and food replicator

and last but not least the computer station.

Here is a example of how the roof can come off and how compact this baby is

Hope you enjoyed the Space base and remeber complaments and critisim is appreciated more pics can be found here my brick shelf

And please I am not trying to be a hypocrite or you know what hole but chuck would you plz tell me what you think? You make great mocs and I want to know how to make this better. ( I hope me and chuck can be friends)

Since you asked so nicely... ;-)

This is a good start. You have the important bits down, like the command area and the airlock, but this could do with some portholes. Maybe put in a second airlock that has a ladder to below the station? Try setting it on struts and putting it on top of a baseplate to look like a moonstation.

It's a good start. *y*

Hey Doug, this is an interesting station here. I think you can really expand it to make it fantastic.

First of all, it looks a bit like a box, you might want to try other shapes to add on to make it look more complex, and spacey. Sure something doesn't need to be aerodynamic in space, but you don't see real space stations (Mir/ISS) look like a box :-P

Also a few more greebs might be a good idea to spice up the exterior and make it look more technical and spacey, just make sure to try to integrate them into the space station, rather than just throwing them on ;-)

I love that you included the airlock, functionality is always a plus.

Can't wait to see what you turn this into!

If your idea is for a space station contest you will probably find you won't get too many entries. Even so, if you hold it Nov-Dec I could be interested. I am booked up for the rest of the month though! :-P

Hello? 8-| Im all alone, no one is commenting :'-(

Doug, settle down please. There's nothing to comment on IMO. You're asking if people want another contest. People enter contests all the time. You don't need popular permission first. If you want to spill the details of the contest and ask for details, great. Ask for feedback on the concept and how to impliment it. Great! *sweet* But don't double post and pester people please. If your thread isn't getting a response, it's not because people are ignoring you. It's because there isn't much to respond to.

So, either ask people for advice on the details or start the contest, but don't continue to ask for a response to the current question as you've phrased it. Thanks buddy! ;-)

Nice start. It needs a few adjustments (more aerodynamic, possibly) but other then that, good start.

Im sorry could you explain what you mean by more aerodynamic. If you mean that I need to change it from a box? Well just so you know the reason for the box shape is... SLOSH :-X
