Dubbadgrim Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 The brazen skeletons of Nocturnus attack a vulnerable Kaliphlin settlement, using their own troops to form a bridge for the more senior warriors. Somehow, they also got ahold of a fire ballista - bad news for anyone with wooden defenses! Built for CCCXIII - Undead Siege. Quote
de Gothia Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Wow! Do we have a war between the guilds here!? :) Or are those skeletons a small guerilla force? On a serious note, lovely build!! The skeleton bridge is a great Idea! Love the green moat as well! Quote
TitusV Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Lovely! I like the details of the attacking side, but the best part is the wooden fort! You did a really great job on it Quote
Spader Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Nice! The wood fort is well done, as is the skeleton bridge. Keep it up! Quote
Exetrius Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 It probably won't come as a surprise to you that my favorite part of the build is the skelly bridge It looks very impressive and complex, but as far as I can see you pulled it off with legal techniques only. Oustanding build, keep it up! Quote
The Steward Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Amazing!! Love the skeleton bridge! Quote
Blufiji Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Those brazen skeletons are moving up in the world. They got a ballista and engineering skills. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Great build .. and excellent "water" Quote
soccerkid6 Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Gorgeous build! I'm particularly impressed with the wooden fortress, all that brown somehow doesn't blend together Great landscape as usual, and humorous idea too Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) That bridge is amazing! Edited December 6, 2015 by Lord Vladivus Quote
LittleJohn Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Fantastic build, Dubbadgrim! The water color works well here, and I really like the wooden fort And, of course, great bridge too Quote
Jacob Nion Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Creative idea and pwrfect result of depicting it. I jusf wonder why the ballista isn't also made of skeletons? Quote
MassEditor Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Not sure if anyone's said this yet( ), but brilliant idea with the skeleton bridge! Wow! Do we have a war between the guilds here!? :) Or are those skeletons a small guerilla force? On a serious note, lovely build!! The skeleton bridge is a great Idea! Love the green moat as well! This attack stinks of the Black Spire, surely this is a false flag attack designed to provoke suspicion between free Nocturnus and Kaliphlin. Quote
Adair Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 That's a neat concept on the bridge! Like the fort and the water too! Quote
Puvel Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 The colour combination of the water and bridge is amazing Quote
KlodsBrik Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 That bridge is just awesome ! Also your build style is so clean and somewhat different, cant put my finger on it really. but i love your overall effort with this MOC. So clean yet detailed. Very nice build ! Quote
Petric_G Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) Nice Build! You may got to many undead warriors :-) Cool idea with the pumpkin quiver! Edited December 9, 2015 by Petric_G Quote
Gideon Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Excellent build, I love that bridge and the landscaping in general! I assume we are seeing some Nocturnian scum assisting that cursed lich...I mean the Desert King Good luck in the CCC! Quote
Dubbadgrim Posted December 15, 2015 Author Posted December 15, 2015 Thanks very much everyone ! I hope to build a sequel siege in the near future. Nice Build! You may got to many undead warriors :-) Cool idea with the pumpkin quiver! I did a bricklink order recently to get most of them, money very well spent Quote
