Richard Dower Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 have some white parts that i want to brighten up, they are not yellowed or anything....just want to see if bleach would make them whiter....but is it safe? Quote
kungpo Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Don't do it - there is another topic somewhere where you can use peroxide and oxy to reverse the discolouration. Bleach will weaken the plastic. Quote
ritztoys Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 "What he said" I've tried the Peroxide and Oxyclean combination and have had excellent results. You have to be patient and allow the liquid combination to 'clean' those white parts, better results if your 'cleaning dish' is located in sunlight. 7-10 days to really clean. kungpo Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Here's the topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=7167 Although it is based on a technique called Retr0bright http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Retrobright-Whitening-solution/ Quote
