I used to save the bags too... *wacko*

I'd carefully open them, either top or bottom at the seam, pulling evenly and gently to prevent unnecessary ripping, then when I was all done, I'd put all the small ones in the larger ones until I was down to as few seperate parts as possible. Then they would go in the box.

I throw them away now, unless they're from polybagged sets. I still keep those, and definitely open them neatly to prevent damaging the pretty picture on the front. X-D

Not a word. Not a single word... I'm warning you! >:-(

I've got two: freak balls!

Just be glad I have no influence over the giving of titles, Ms. Mandy Lori Ann!

A threat, eh? Well, at least you didn't say "Mrs.". X-O

Single ON! :-P

Yet another great interview. It's nice to learn a lot about someone I'd only previously seen in a pic on a Lego town with Hinckley and Siegfred. :-P Keep up the good work. *y*

About the same time I realised I really didn't need to keep all the plastic bags either (yes, I even kept the opened plain bags)

Really? Me too.

And bags? Thats just weird.... :-|

Actually, no. I kept a large number of bags, then found them very useful when I was sorting. Some pieces went into bags while I was finding a suitable box, and some of the less-substantial sorts (winch pieces, electrics, etc.) are still in polybags.

I've found them very useful actually. I've got enough to be going on with though, so they all go in the bin now.

Thanks for the interview, guys! I think this was my favorite yet. I especially enjoyed the part about Hinckley sharing his collection... it reminds me of when I'm letting a sibling or other little kid play with my Lego. X-D

I don't keep the bags to my sets, but I think I can understand why people do it... maybe. *wacko* For storing pieces in bags, I prefer using ziplock bags, that way my pieces don't spill if I pick it up wrong.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's overprotective of his lego.

I've slide-tackled a kid who went at me Lego too fast. *sweet* I never knew I could slide tackle anybody... Anyhow, I picked him up, and he was laughing his head off. He plays football, so he told me "Nice tackle!" :-D

Nice interview *sweet*! We need all the info we can get from eachother so we can mock&smack without being sued!

Two months of nightly digging for the pond - sounds like someone worked the cementarys in an earlier life X-D!

I used to keep all of my bags too, but now I only keep the printed ones. *wacko* (Numbered ones don't qualify!)

Polybags Off

I'm so with you on that Copmike! In my opinion keeping the bags is a bit *wacko*. If you need bags to store parts in, sir Dillons suggestion of using zip-lock bags is much more sensible.

I think a lot of LEGO-fanatics would consider me *wacko* as well for not keeping all the boxes :-$

This is turning into an episode of LEGO Confessions now (hey, I might just see if that's ever been done before and try it) ... Cancel this post, I'm gonna go check on making a new thread for just that purpose. *y*
