[HELP] Ordering Pneumatic Cylinders from TLG

Can anybody tell me why it's not possible to order of some the parts from the

42043 mercedes truck.

Tried early today to order some parts for a moc.

The parts where :

But according to the mail i recieved later today TLG says that those parts are not yet avaible.

So why is it not possible to order them now ???

It seems that i cannot get the picture links to work

The parts ere the new pneumatic cylinders 2x11 and 1X11.

I guess it's because they are so new that they have to make sure they have enough for all the 42043 sets first before they stock up on the spares, or it could also be to increase the percieved value of the set during it's initial release. if they are going to include those parts in the sets for next year, like the volvo excavator, then they will make sure they have enough for those sets as well before selling them individually. Or, it could be that they have no intention of selling them individually. Those are my guesses anyway.

Try Brickowl.com. I got the new grab buckets and new actuators that way ok.

Hi,

I never saw pneumatics (cylinders) on Lego Bricks & Pieces site, I do believe they don't sell them at all this way.

Don't make high hopes, but luckily there is a market for such parts: Bricklink.com or Brickowl.com (as mentioned). I have only positive experiences with Bricklink's sellers.

but that don't make any sense to me, because when i spoked with the seller she told me that

they had those parts in there system. and later today i got this email.

The demand for the item(s) listed below has exceeded our expectations and the item(s) are no longer available. We regret to inform you that the order for these item(s) has been cancelled from your order.

what do they mean about that exceeded expactations ????

Well, since we don't have LEGO representatives here there are two possible options:

1. Later

2. Never

I don't have experience with pneumatic pieces from older sets, but pieces might become available later during the next year when demand in Arocs set would decrease.

it's just wierd when i spoke with the woman at SAH, she told me about those parts were in there system. when she had figured something out

she would call me back later and i'm still waiting for that call ?? maybe tomorrow.

You will find hundreds on Bricklink. Currently some German shops have them under 10€ each. I've stopped using Brickowl since the list of parts is too limited and often more expensive.

I've been checking Bricks&Pieces regularly, and none of the new parts have been available since the sets showed up there. Remember someone on Eurobricks speculating that they would become available in January?

I have bought individual cylinders and switches from B&P earlier (not V2 of course), however when I tried to buy hoses, I was told they were only sold bundled with the rest of the pneumatic parts for a given set..

I actually ordered some V2 pneumatic parts on Bricklink, and had my first really bad BL experience.. All of a sudden a trusted seller with several thousand positive sales behind him became unresponsive, and a lot of people never received their orders. Luckily, PayPal refunded my money relatively painlessly

If you need them now, I'd reckommend Bricklink, as I doubt they will be a lot cheaper directly from TLG

Looks like an interesting project to build! While you're talking with LEGO, ask them when they'll bring out tires with a proper tractor tread

But anyway i think the price is still cheaper at TLG.

Give Customer Service a call. I did that at some time in August. Most of the parts a available if you call the by phone. The parts where listed but not yet priced back then. So the agent sent me one whole pneumatics back for free. :classic: Guess she didn't want me to cancel my 50€ parts order.

The cylinders were in stock in the LegoLand Günzburg factory store for 7€ (thin cylinder) and 9€ the large one.

I remember somebody on this forum being able to order the 42043 pneumatic package shortly after 42043 release. The pneumatic cylinders couldn't be ordered individually due to them being made externally. So they were/are not made by Lego themselves.

Just got a call from costumer service, the nice lady told me it's possible for

me to order the cylinders in about 2 weeks time. :) and at the same time

i will get the other parts that i ordred for free. She also told me it was an error in there system that

didn't allowed them to order the parts .
