KlodsBrik Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Looking great. How did you make the spaces between the tiled floor? Are they placed upon a huge sticker or something ? Quote
Fletcher Floyd Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 Looking great. How did you make the spaces between the tiled floor? Are they placed upon a huge sticker or something ? Thank you:-) Building a floor like this is easy: You just put the 2x2 plates on 1x1 studs. And then put them next to each other on your baseplate and you'll have those spaces "automatically". Of course you can turn the plates around the way you want them. Quote

I created my own pattern of 2x1 (with central stud) to create this effect. Leaving some nasty work at the edges xD. Awesome MOC btw.. love the design :) Quote
KlodsBrik Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Ahhhh ...... Thanks for explaining. Thats a technique ive never used before ( obviously ). Will definately come in handy at some point in time. Once again, great looking prison Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Nice prison ! Good to see and learn some building techniques. Quote
Staslegomaster Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 As the Penguin once said to Batman, not walls make a prison, not doors keep you inside. I like the red monk most of all (or is it an inquisitor?) I recently created such one using CMF-s: little red riding hood and a judge. So, great minds think alike. Add a white rat to your grey dungeon. Quote
Fletcher Floyd Posted November 27, 2015 Author Posted November 27, 2015 Thank you guys, I'm glad you like it! @Staslegomaster: Yes, he's the Inquisitor:-) I was thinking about a rat, but I must confess I simply forgot it! Quote
Balbo Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Excellent entry . I really like the tile-technique you used and the kitbash minifigures Quote
KevFett2011 Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Nice kitbashes and great scene! I like the bottom with the tiles. KevFett2011 Quote
