100+ DC Comics Custom Minifigs

I'm very new here, so I hope this is the right place for this.

Since the Batman line launched, I've been hoping that it would expand into Superman and Justice League characters...at this point, I'm hoping it just stays afloat (only two new sets this year? and nothing leaked yet for '08?).

In any case, I really like making custom minifigs, and although I don't have the mad decal skillz that so many other people seem to have, I'm okay with paint. So here's the link -- it's more than 100 custom minifigs from DC Comics: Justice League, Superman, Batman, Teen Titans, Legion of Doom, etc.

Wow! Dude, that is a LOT of mini-figs. Really great stuff in there. I especially liked Harley Quinn. That's exactly how I picture an official Lego version. Oh, and Krypto made me laugh. What a simple, yet elegant solution.

My only complaint -- Zatanna and Black Canary need fishnet hose! X-D

As for your comments on the Batman theme, I share your concerns. This year's two sets were pretty ho-hum, and I haven't come across any rumors or gossip about '08 sets. Is Batman done already???

I might do another Zee and Canary with fishnets...at the time I made Canary, she was still wearing her more modern Birds of Prey outfit, and wasn't wearing fishnets as much. But now that she's wearing her classic costume more, I'll probably change it out.

Marvel...I've made some movie X-Men (you can see them here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/14632327@N03/page5/ ) , but other than that, I'm really much much much more a DC Guy than Marvel guy. Maybe someday, if I run out of DC, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones stuff to make.

I really liked the Batcopter/Scarecrow's Biplane set, but the Bat-tank set...sucked. I'm hoping 2008 is at least more interesting, if not a ton more product.

At first I had problems with the women, because...well, the minifig style just seems too chunky and "A" shaped for someone like Wonder Woman. But once I got over that...I likes 'em.

Thanks, Exo-builder! I'm looking forward to doing some more, but it'll probably be a few months. I'm so buried in my Masters Degree work right now that I think I just might die.

My next moc building projects are DC Comics related, though, I might get to those over the Christmas break.
