So I was just cruising the old interwebs again, and came across protection for the worst phenomenon known to lego-loving-man-and-woman who dare to enter the minefields, stepping on a brick.

Apparantly only 1500 pairs of slippers were made, and they will be given away from a random selection of LEGO lovers who fill out a Christmas list on the LEGO France website.

OMFG.... ROFL ..... I gotta get a pair of these. Im always having my LEGO spread around late night building, then when i finally realize what time it is, im to lazy to clean it all up.

Then during the night i get to ,well .... You know either for a sandwich snack or toilet. And i always end up stepping on LEGO cause i dont turn the lights on !

Crap I love this. Once upon a time I thought about blogging about how to appropriately step on Lego. The trick, IMO, is to roll your ankle and fall the minute you notice you are stepping on Lego. It might sound dramatic, but for those of us where this is a constant problem then it is not considered dramatic at all. Another trick would be what I call the "mine sweep" method......where when you are entering your kids room at night because they stole your laptop, and you don't want to wake them, is to scan the floor with your foot in a sweeping motion ahead of you. This helps you avoid stepping on Lego and falling down in excruciating pain waking up the whole house......

But with these I don't have to worry about any of that..... :classic: :classic:

"mine sweep" method......

Sometimes it gets so bad in the kids play area, I use a small snow-shovel to clear a safe path into the room  I then make them sort out all the bricks from the resulting pile.

Any chance us non-French folks can get in on this action?

Hahaha .... I so need to practice these "forbidden" steps

But.. Only 1500?

That's not fair!

Stepping on Lego is the leading cause of death and hospitalizations, yet no one understands the intensity of the situation (which is why it isn't on global charts).

Honestly though, only 1500? I hope they're making more, because really? This is a major problem solver, if they're being greedy with it that is just wrong.

The trick is to not step on them in the first place - I've gotten really good at avoiding pieces on the floor over the years. I usually leave a few spots clear on the floor so I have places to step anyway.

LMAO

Finally!!!

I don't really need them because I always build my sets on a table but these are really nice

It's good to see LEGO is aware of the pain they have caused on humanity

I don't have the problem of bricks on the floor since I banned Lego from the children's rooms a few years ago. Now all Lego must stay in the designated Lego room and on tables or display areas. Do I sound like Lord Business? Well, at least nothing gets broken or lost and the children are still allowed to play with it, of course.

Lol I saw those in Instagram a few days ago. But my feet are already immune for LEGO after all those years...

Yup. Same here. I can stand, sit and lay on Lego without any pain.
