The orbital defensive grid remained silent while Zoid teams swarmed the colonies. Octan pilots fought to get to their ships but many were killed or captured. Nobody could tell where the Zoids came from, but many would soon find out where they were going. The alien fleet finally moved into orbit once the ground was secured.
