dougstar Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Very cool! Compact, give us a rough part count please Quote
zux Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Nice little off-roader. Would love to see how it performs. Quote
Pego Posted December 12, 2015 Author Posted December 12, 2015 Thanks everybody! Here´s a short video: nice maybe another vid in the snow Sorry but I have some better plans for the snow (8x8), this truck simply won´t be that great in the snow. Very nice, cool little model. I am wondering where the front bumper is though? I don't know if that was a design choice or it's just missing in the pictures? Seems a little empty below the grill to me. I could pretty easily have added it, but it would hurt the approach-angle a lot, so I decided to leave it off. Very cool! Compact, give us a rough part count please I´ll make an LDD file soon, but I have no idea til then. Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Excellent video in an extremely nice environment of such a great model!!!  Quote
Pego Posted January 16, 2016 Author Posted January 16, 2016 I've made a LDD file of the chassis: https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing It has about 400 pieces. Jeep CJ5 LDD by Pego's Legos, on Flickr Places marked with arrows (not the green one) should be replaced with this part: Instruction 1 by Pego's Legos, on Flickr The 3L axle should be replaced with this part (the SBrick should be connected to it): Instruction 2 by Pego's Legos, on Flickr Quote
Pego Posted May 15, 2016 Author Posted May 15, 2016 I have edited the first post with a new video and updated the LDD file, it is now including the bodywork (in the first post). Quote
JJ2 Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 You balanced looks with performance, hard to do at such a small scale. Kudos! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Very well designed model! Good work capturing the look of the CJ5 so well for a smaller technic model, and it looks like a capable crawler Quote
