Arctic_Ace Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I just got the LEGO 6375 Exxon gas station and it is fantastic! The set includes two gas station attendants and a customer. It is a fun build with lots of details like the "TURN OFF ENGINE" and "NO SMOKING" signs. In addition to the store with a cash register and map of Legoland, there are four gas pumps, a lift, tools, a broom, a shovel, spare tires, oil cans and two cars. The real fun starts when you start to play with the set. The lift really works and lifts the car high enough for the attendant to go under there and work on the car. The cars are really amazing. Since it is a gas station set you would expect there to be a couple of cars, but these cars actually have gas tank holes. It makes it really fun to play with because they have a little rope hose at the pump that can go into the hole. The car hoods swivel open so the attendant can check the water and oil too. The baseplate is a little thin, but functional, probably a cost cutting design. This set has 255 parts and 3 minifigures and only cost $20USD when it came out in 1980. At an average cost of just under 8 cents per brick, I wish LEGO could make more sets that were inexpensive and had great play value like this set. Quote
WhiteFang Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Hi Arctic_Ace, I understand that from your topic that it seem to imply as an user-feedback review for the set 6375 which is quite well summarised. However, in Eurobricks context, review topic will need to encompass with images and written text in order to provide an all-round reading experience for the EB community. Thus, may I sincerely request you to let me know of your agenda and purpose for this topic if is intended to be a pictorial review or a discussion topic or something else? Thank you. WhiteFang Quote
