Vedauwoo Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 (edited) --NOTE: This is a build for Week 22...submitting now as I am heading out of town for a bit...-- Location: E01 - Donwaar Tags: Vehicle, Land Vehicle, Exploration I'm on a solo mission this week....on the Strange planet "Donwaar." I've been asked to gather samples of a strange yellow rock found here: Tough, I am not completely alone....I've attracted the interest of a local critter of some sort... On this mission, I am driving a GAZ-91 "Manticore" Utility Transport Walker: It has a great pair of articulated arms for loading up samples... After all the excitement of the past few missions, it's nice to be able to take it easy for a bit... Landscape 1: Landscape 2: "MANTICORE" Port Side: Front: Starboard: Rear: Action Shot: Controls: Critter: Landscape theme and Critter inspired by previous missions on Donwaar ============================================= Thanks for visiting! Jody Meyer Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 That is a great crawler, love the front end, also great landscape as well! Quote
SpacerSteve Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 It looks even better in your post. It kind of reminds me of that old classic space walker. Great use of the gyrosphere. Quote
Kai NRG Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Great shape here! The head and double tail are both pretty neat! Quote
goatman461 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 neat design. I really like the cockpit and how you connected it Quote
pombe Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I like the butt arms, especially the one that ends with a hook like a pirate. Also amazing is the cockpit which is like one giant cajon.... Sue, what is the singular of cajones in Spanish? I don't think there is a singular version, sir. Quote
Andromedas Gates Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 The judges awarded you 4 points. Quote

Vedauwoo Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 (edited) sorry for bumping an old topic, but I've just seen this a few minutes ago and some of the stuff here looks fimiliar ... Well, the idea was to find what other builders had done for this planet and make something similar...and not totally off the wall for the "canon" in the game so far... I should have credited for the critter, and usually do...as you can see in my "What comes around, goes around...." post...I just overlooked that in my haste to post. Perhaps some rule clarification is needed, as we head into the "time switch" competition....the way I had read things, I was encouraged to follow some of the existing "lore" of others' posts. I will certainly edit and include references for said "lore" to insure no one is offended. Edited November 23, 2015 by Vedauwoo Quote
