SirNadroj Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Hello everyone. As you may know, my first WWII MOC (Tank) was a bit of a disspointment. :-$ Well, I've come to redeem myself! This is an abandoned Nazi Hideout during WWII. The two highest ranked Nazi Figures are from Brickarms.com, as well as the weapons! (The quality is superb, if you were thinking about buying from them!) I've also made a little WWII-esk car. As you see, the building seems to have been adandoned, but U.S. troops were spotted there. Some soldiers go to investigate. As you also see, one U.S. soldier is down, and his General is going to help. *sweet* But watch out, look who's lurking downstairs and outside! The last picture is me fooling around. :-D :-D Thanks for looking, and here's the MOC page: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/38534 Quote
Hinckley Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Sir Nadroj, you are a very talented builder. I really love this! *wub* Especially the Nazi parrot. :-D :-D :-D I think very highly of your creations and would love to see this expanded to a full baseplate or street. I'm okay with the idea of vigs, but your creativity deserves expansion. Everything is expertly done here, cool building, awesome care and expert custom figs. Great job, man! *sweet* *y* EDIT: are the helmets customs? or... :-X ...something else? Quote
Doctor Sinister Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I really REALLY like this - the car is perfect, the Brickarms figs look brilliant in this setting - told you were good didn't I? Dr. S. Quote

I would NEVER go imitation on you guys! :-D (Well, I guess custom is imitation, but it's QUALITY imitation! ;-) ) Here's the link: http://brickarms.com/toys/accessories/M1_Helmet.aspx I would love to expand, but peice quantity MAY be a problem. I dunno yet, I could always order off of bricklink. I sort of blew a majority of my money on an East German Soldier Uniform (for Halloween, but its authentic! ;-)) Maybe I I've got nothing else going on, since expanding would be cool! I really REALLY like this - the car is perfect, the Brickarms figs look brilliant in this setting - told you were good didn't I?Dr. S. Thanks! ;-) Yup, they're perfect! Corvus Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 (edited) EDIT: are the helmets customs? or... :-X ...something else? I think the helmet is brickarms, Hink. ;-) Edit: Sirnadroj beat me to it! I like this! I saw Saving Private Ryan a few days ago, and I was impressed with their scenery, and now this, in lego version. *y* What is the red 4x8 plate for, some kind of banner? The banner is suppoed to be a banner w/ nazi logo (I don't know how to spell 'schwasticka' correctly ;-) ) I obviously didn't put the logo, but I've seen some WWII movies and the Nazi buildings somethings had those long banners. X-D I spotted the banner straight away, even without the Swastika (which might be offensive to some) it's still immediately obvious what it should be - nice job. Dr. S. Quote

Thanks! X-D I know what you mean by that being offensive, but I won't start rambling 'bout, well, nevermind! :-D Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Excellent. I love both the vehicle and the diorama. You did a really nice job with the custom German torsos. This is what I'm hoping the Indiana Jones theme would offer. Quote
iamded Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 This is really well done! You've certainly made the building look nice and abandoned, and the car is done very well, fits in great. Also, the Brickarms equipment fit perfectly too! Great job! *y* *y* Quote
doug7172 Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Okay first of all The Nazis and Aldoph Hitler SUCKED! They were so flipping Stupid Other wise nice moc (HITLER SUCKS) Quote
iamded Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Remember, there is a limited type of fleshy heads, so I think he did a good job. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think those are the heads the minifigs come with when bought from Brickarms. Quote
Shadows Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Very nicely built! Love the car and the amount of detail packed in. Big fan of vigs, and this one is no exception. I especially like dead Anakin and the airline pilot mod fitting in so well. Only thing I would do is have a wall about to fall on Joe Vig Nazi there, just for a twist. >:-) Quote
Batbrick Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Wow Sir Nadroj! You continually surprise me with these excllent MOCs! *sweet* The car is very nifty as are the soldiers, and both fit in very well with the war ravaged building you have created. A great use of a bleeding anakin and very pleasing to see an inside and outside to the building. *y* Nice subtle altering of the flag so as not to offend anyone, too! :-) Batbrick gives it: *y* *y* TTFN! >:-) Quote
Opproperaar Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 That SS oficer with his Luger cracks me up. Imagine someone with such a facial expression :-D It couldn't be anymore obvious he's a bad guy. What a lovely MOC, I especially like the look of the building, perhaps you could make one of Stalingrad. Anyway a very nicely built MOC *y* *y* I'd love to see more. Quote
SirNadroj Posted October 6, 2007 Author Posted October 6, 2007 (edited) Thanks guys! Okay first of all The Nazis and Aldoph Hitler SUCKED! They were so flipping StupidOther wise nice moc (HITLER SUCKS) Ooooookkkk.... |-/ But the first figure was NOT Hitler. He is an aynonomous gestapo/ss officer. I don't like Hitler either. ;-) Remember, there is a limited type of fleshy heads, so I think he did a good job. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think those are the heads the minifigs come with when bought from Brickarms. Thanks. Actually, it came with yellow heads, but I replaced them. I think at one point in time, Brickarms offered those exact heads with it, but I guess he couldn't get ahold of enough fleshies, so he went with yellow. I would have went with yellow, but since WWII is a historical even, I felt fleshies would be appropriate. ;-) Edited October 6, 2007 by SirNadroj Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 That's a really amazing MOC, SirNadroj! Really, it is! The Brickarms are a great addition, and the wounded soldier was perpetrated perfectly with Vader's head from the Transformation set! All in all, it's really nice! *y* *y* Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Brillian MOC sir Nadroj, i love the detail end the fact that it is so busy on a small plate *wub* Where did you get the weapons?? Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 He said on BrickArms. It's a website which is maintained by a guy who makes these realistic weapons and sells them. Anyone can buy them; they're not free, however. :-P Quote

Siegfried Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Great MOC. *wub* The car is brilliant and you have put the Brickarms and the licenced heads to very good use! The bombed building works very well too. Quote
CopMike Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Really really nice work there Nadroj *y*! Reminds me of those dioramas in the modelbuilder shops using 1/72 scala figs etc. The use of both real LEGO & the other pieces works well together. Keep it up and I Quote
Dragonator Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Hey, nice job on this SirNadroj! Love how those brickarms pieces fit in with the real lego so well. Keep it up! (Will be waiting for more! :-) *y* ) Quote
