jamie75 Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Hey guys, After looking at PaulCs' thread, he got the gears in head turning. I wanted to add a Bacta Bath. I am also working on somemore things for it, but, those are going to have to wait. I am getting burned out after the Falcon, Hoth Base, RC, and SI. Plus working on side projects. All, in last couple of weeks. Anyways, here are some pics of my Bacta Bath. I will update this thread in ferw months when I get the rest done. I just need a break from building. Before anyone grips, I don't normally modify pieces. These are the first. I cut the ends off to make it possible for Luke stand up in, like in ESB. I just didn't like the look of him sitting in it. Vader Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Looks great mate, myself i don't have a problem with cutting pieces. To each their own on that i say, your moc is really good and i love the way you have used the divers neck piece. Quote
Asuka Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 A decent work and a very useful part modification indeed. *y* Quote
simonjedi Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 very cool. before i actually read the description i thought there was actual water in there! (look just up from his undies to see the line) Quote
zz-80 Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 before i actually read the description i thought there was actual water in there lol, I thought that as well. I already wanted to ask if it's really water or just some kind of gel or soap. :-D hmm, you might try this. Quote
Courleciel Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Very good MOC *y* *wub* . I have already think to build it. Quote
jamie75 Posted October 10, 2007 Author Posted October 10, 2007 (edited) Vader, Thanks for the kind words! I would have perfered the divers mask in Black, but, I only had light gray from a Res-Q set to use. Asuka, Thanks! simonjedi, I wish there was a way I could do this without the line, but, without molding one myself. Hmmmm, gears are turning in my head now! :-) Anyways, after cutting the top off 2 pieces and bottom off 2 more, I "connected" them with packing tape. The tape is the width, as i goes from the top to the bottome of the tube. Downside, it kinda clouds the tube. But, the line does add a cool effect, like the tank is draining or filling. zz-80, sorry for the confusion, no gel or soap. Courleciel, post pics! I would be cool to see someone elses take on it. Derek Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Its a shame nothing like this was included in the Hoth base.. THEN i would buy it. Quote
Batbrick Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 A great MOC Jamie! *y* *y* I myself don't care about cutting or modding peices, because then we would have no cool army helmets or guns! *sweet* It does look a lot like the movie, and the droid is welldone too. Maybe you shoould make the recovery room too, where Leia kisses Luke, not knowing they are siblings! :-X :-D TTFN! >:-) Quote

Second, I like the recovery room idea, I may run with that. later. I don't want to look at any Lego right now. I do plan on doing more with the Hoth base. The Generator, maybe an Ion Cannon, another turrent or 2, a Tauntaun, Wampa, An ice Cave for the Wampa. Just not right now!! darthperson8, I wish they would have too. But that is what MOCing is for. jedikermit Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Jamie, I like that a lot--I was just watching ESB last night with my boys, and kept on thinking, "I need to build a medical center for my Hoth Base that I don't have yet." So, nice to see someone actually doing it. Quote
