Ookami Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Hey guys, My name is Nick, I am 20 years old and recently I've found that my love to LEGO, which was blown away at the age of 15, when my mother sold all my collection, has come back. I bought some new sets this year and a couple of ays ago decided to build my first MOC out of Lego parts I had. I am new to this forum and I really want to get some constructive feedback on my creation and make new friends in this interesting and wonderful community. I've decided to begin with a short plot: In the middle of 21st century the humanity faced a serious problem called "Lycanthropia". In one day all fairy tales, legends and myths turned to be real and the virus spreaded through almost all the countries in the world turnng its victims into cruel bloodthirsty predators. The survivors found their new home in the sewages and catacombs. Others didn't lose their hope and built so-called 'Safety fortresses' to recover and obtain new power in order to fight against 'turned humans'. Some of the catacombs' inhabitants organize transportation of the civilians and refugees from the infected areas to the 'Safety fortresses'. On my MOC you can see the surface with the infected lycanthropes, a party of survivors and underground transportation crew. Here is the whole scene The surface (ruins of building and a street) Lycanthropes are feasting Their fellow is seeking new prey Woman with a child are under the protection of the police officer The work is going on at the underground base A secret radar I am planning to expand the story and add some new MOCs or make this one even better, so will be glad to receive your feedback! Dr.Cogg Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 This is a good first build and I like your story with the Werewolves, that being said here's my cc, your MOC(My own Creation) is a little to cluttered, if you take some of the clutter out it would probably fix your moc and if you want to learn new techniques, I would suggest checking out all the creations on these sites and around this site. http://www.brickshelf.com/ https://www.flickr.com/ http://www.brothers-brick.com/ P.S.hope this helps. gamejutzu Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 It's great for a first try! Keep learning building techniques by getting various Lego sets (caves, HQ's) and you'll be a master! You're doing better than me when I got Lego anyway... Quote
