frumpy Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Hi All, This build was part of the collaboration with Dr Rod and I Scream Clone we did recently for a show in Sydney (http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=114929). I've named my build Oakheart (both village and caslte) and obviously it is in Avalonia :) Overall Views Castle Some Village Shots Interior Pictures And this poor guy Full flickr album with lots more photos here https://www.flickr.c...s/68420618@N05/ Quote
Puvel Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 That’s amazing! Castle, village, interior and minifigs positioning are all done superbly! Quote

Tezclatipoca Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Woaow ! Awesome build ! What else to say, wow ! Quote
peedeejay Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Absolutely stunning. Love the details and especially all the minifig scenes. This place is full of life. Quote
mrcp6d Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Quite the dio! The castle by itself is nice but all the details and scenes really bring this to life. Quote
BrickCurve Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Looks great. I really like the waterfall and the vignettes built into the base. I do think the tower at the front could use some of these though- ( http://alpha.brickli...olor":86,"ii":1 ). Do you have an overview shot of the back of the castle? Quote
Kai NRG Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Excellent work! Wonderful castle, the vines all over are really nice as is the interior! The houses are pretty neat as well! If I may mention one thing though, to me at least there's just a tad too many colors spread about a little too randomly, making it a little difficult to tell what's going on. Other than that however, superb build! Quote
Blufiji Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Beautiful castle and village. Very lively and a great representation of Avalonia. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Wow. Wow. Wow. What can I say? I like this very much. Great design, lovely details = excellent! Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 I like the busy village feel to it and all the little details. Quote
songwm Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Very nice. Always like this kind of castle + village diorama! Quote
LordDan Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Fantastic scene, that castle is great! This is an awesome showcase of Avalonia power ( Im jealous of all the Avalonian dragon shields you have, I only have like 3) Quote
Garmadon Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) Excellent castle and village, Frumpy, loving the bright colors and clean texturing on the castle (inside and out!) and tower! The landscape and houses are very nice as well, and although I agree with Kai that some of the colors look a tad out of place, this is certainly a superb build and impressive layout! LittleJohn Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Fantastic build, frumpy! I really like how a lot of the buildings are at angles, and the amount of detail you packed in is very impressive Quote
Bregir Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Woah, Frumpy - this is brilliant. It seems to me this could be a perfect entry to the Avalonian task 5 Quote
