Shakar Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I spot with my little eye two red Skellie swords. My little eye also spots a fully enclosed cockpit....and a mech that actually looks GOOD. Sadly, it appears the pilot is Ryo. I would've liked new pilots...new hairpieces and new faces with anime eyes would have been useful. Shakar Quote

I have the feeling that I only like Ryos Robots... and I would like to have a third figure, .... so I hope for other good sets next year! I have only 2 exoforce sets from the very beginning, but this one seems promising! cockpit looks nice! :-) Quote
natelite Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 :-X it's the same construction as before. stick figure - slap on some slopes and call it armor. ah well, better that way. more money for city, sw, indy, and castle. Quote
Tohst Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 It also looks like it has a lime green version of Tahu's original firesword. I need a sig. Quote
Asuka Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I need a sig. Hello and welcome! *y* If toast always lands butter-side down, and cats always land on their feet, what happen if you strap toast on the back of a cat and drop it?Steven Wright Quote
Tohst Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Hello and welcome! *y* Thanks. I'm hoping to find time today to introduce myself officially. And as for your Steven Wright quote. What happens is a perpetual motion machine spinning and spinning. I saved a fortune on electricity but eventually had to give it up because of constant motion sickness. Steven Wright rocks. Quote

Hinckley Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Meh. If they come out with smaller sets, then I might buy them. I'm still smarting from this comment at my local Zellers....."Sweet! Striking Venom half-off! Wait, what's the store clerk doing? Hey you, what are you doing with that?" "My son likes Lego, so I thought I'd buy it for him." "How old's your son?" "5." :'-( Waste of a good set... but next year's sets seem to be an improvement- I can only cross my fingers and hope for the best. I'm confused about what you're saying here. Did the clerk buy the last Striking Venom and you couldn't get it or did you not get it because the store clerk was buying it for a 5 year old? I hope it's not the latter. Any reasonable five year old would want the UCS Millenium Falcon...would that stop you from wanting it? *wacko* Quote
Tijn Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 that spike piece on the knee would be excellent as the tip of a EP.II/clone wars jedi starfighter. And the green one would be Kit Fisto's then ... Quote
Corvus Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 (edited) That is nice that we get a nice green tahu sword! What is that thing attached to the sword holding the red skellie swords? It looks like some sort of drone. :-/ If toast always lands butter-side down, and cats always land on their feet, what happen if you strap toast on the back of a cat and drop it?Steven Wright Ow... I've just learned the hard way that snorting Pepsi accidentally up your nose hurts... EDIT: I've just noticed that the arm carrying the claws spins. :-X The arm is attached to a long technic rod that extends about six inches behind the mech. :-X Edited October 1, 2007 by Mr. Mandalorian Quote
Dino_Bot Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Not bad, not bad at all. But my money is not going for these anymore. Quote

Zaktan of the Shadows Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 (edited) Whats wrong with the jungle??I think it will be kool. "Oh lets go explore a jungle in our battle machines being Indiana Jones, but bigger while the robots as always, stalk us and we must fight them. Wow. Our base is in the cave over there! Wheeeeeee....." :-X :-X :-X Thats what its like in a jungle... with mechs. Its not like Manga... its not even cool. Its a horrible idea. First its normal manga, then its a sterotypical Japanese city, now a jungle? -ZotS Edited October 2, 2007 by Zaktan of the Shadows Quote

Get him! I'll fly up here, to the- Oof, there's a big tree in the way, uh oh!" :-| Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 True... so true :-D Although I wonder how they will fight. -ZotS Quote

Zaktan of the Shadows Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 NOOESS! They are ruining the enviroment. And Exo-Force said they were saving humanity. >:-( :-D X-D -ZotS Quote
ReZourceman Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Their carbon foot print must be huge. Quote
A Cross Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 This design looks interesting. Plus: looks mecha, cockpit, green slopes, pointed knee piece, interesting feet. Minus: wide hips, looks flimsy Quote
yellost Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 er... Aren't they supposed to fight for a split-in-half mountain or something? :-/ Or did they finally realise that the world is a bit bigger than that little piece of rock... Quote
Zarkan Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Man, I'm surprised I haven't said anything about this yet. This is already making 2008 look like an awesome year for Exo-force, and better overall than 2007 (which still was pretty good, IMO). *sweet* I see lots of great pieces in there, and we finally get a normal green mech! *wub* BTW, Swiftone (who works with TLC on Exo-force), said on BZP that this book is not planned to be released. It was at one point, but is currently not on the schedule. However, he had said nothing about the mech on the cover, which makes me think that it is a real set. ;-) Quote
iamded Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 (edited) My first thought was "Wow, a green Stealth Hunter rebuild". My second thought was "What are those pointy green things on his knees?" My third thought was "Cool, bronze skellie swords!". Doesn't look too bad, is that a black technic flame? Interesting. er... Aren't they supposed to fight for a split-in-half mountain or something? :-/ Or did they finally realise that the world is a bit bigger than that little piece of rock... Well, the mountain does have vegetation on it, it's not just rock. ~Peace Edited October 5, 2007 by iamded Quote
hollisbrick Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 :-D er... Aren't they supposed to fight for a split-in-half mountain or something? Or did they finally realise that the world is a bit bigger than that little piece of rock... It's probly a verry big mountain lol :-D Quote
Batbrick Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 I like this set but I really hope this is the last year for Exo-Force, there is only so many mechas you can make before the line falls flat. It has been a good theme and many will be sad to see it go, but better that then have more sets like the Combat Crawler! :-X x 192 + 12 :-X TTFN! >:-) Quote
