Hi, i think you made an excellent work here, the only thing that i would put on it to improve it would be a string from the turret base to the upper part, so you avoid it from bending forward, despite that its an excellent work, good luck.

The whole structure is bending forward. I originally had the turntable further forward, but the gearbox would not clear 42009's engine. (As you can see from the side view, it's tight.)

Nice crane, these types of crane present a very complex puzzle, which you seem to have solved with your MOC.

BTW, I hate to be the one to spoil your fun, but didn't Milan say that a MOC crane on top of a official set was not allowed for the TC8?

Or are you still planning your own carrier? In that case, ignore this remark.

Building your crane on top of the Lego set (even on the carrier unit) is not allowed. Your entry should be your creation, otherwise people could vote for a Lego set in your entry.

I would like to enter it as just a top section. Only problem is the only cranes I have built are sets. I was using 42009 as a display. It attaches exactly like the original crane.

I think to scale a trailer for it like in the picture would be to use unimog tires.
