Hi all,

My name is Ash, I'm 30 and I'm from Queensland, Australia.

I've recently gotten back into Lego after a decade hiatus. After welcoming a son into my family nearly 4 years ago I figured it was time to get back into it so we could spend some quality father/son time together.

Seeing the extreme joy on his face when he picked parts for his first minifigs from the 'create your own minifig' stall at a local expo this weekend just gone has reinforced to me that people of all ages can enjoy Lego. I'm looking forward to buying him his very own set this weekend for his first ever set.

I have quite a number of the marvel and dc Lego sets as I'm a massive fan of the superhero genre in general.

I also have purchased quite a number of the new deep sea Lego sets, and all the beach themed sets I can get my hands on through retail as there is something about the beach theme that really interests me.

I look forward to being inspired by all the creations I see on the forum.

Thanks for reading.

Have a great time on Eurobricks, Ash! :classic:

I can relate with that fascination for the beach, both in Lego and real life. I used to have a entire island surrounded by a beach, with a lot of quads and water sport vehicles. My dream was to make a big boulevard (palm trees, skate park, life-guard towers, surfboard-renting....)
