ILikePi Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 (edited) Hey, I just found out that the UCS Millenium Falcon's number of pieces is my member number! :P EDIT: Wait, nevermind... >.> Gizmodo mislead me... http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/lego-millennium...king-335036.php Edited February 17, 2009 by ILikePi Quote
The Crazy One Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Such an amazing review, best i have seen on my time in EB, one downside, i am going to go bankrupt because you have persuasded me to buy it! Quote
drdavewatford Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Superb review, Dunamis ! Respect. So, what's next ? :-) I just finished building 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer, and wish I had the time and patience to capture photgraphs of every stage like you did with the MF. I certainly share your issues regarding where to display it, however - it's absolutely huge (almost 1 metre long !) I'm really looking forward to your next review. Dr. D. Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Very good review, I voted for above average Quote
The Who Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Ah! My certificate was 1,105! Lucky you. Quote
prateek Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 WOW!!!!! thats bigger than my room just kidding but it is huge!!! Quote
Brickus Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I'm so tempted to buy it now but it is $1000 Australian. Quote
KimT Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I'm so tempted to buy it now but it is $1000 Australian. Wow such a comment really adds 'something' to this review Please consider if it's really worth bumpin' a topic just to do a price rant (which really isn't welcome around here). "Apology accepted, Captain Needa." Quote
fenris Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Thank you very much for this really well done and nicely commented review of this great set! Now I've got a problem - or actually two: where do i get the money from for this set and where could I put my MF once it's put together if poker god's are good to me today... It's definately one of my favourite ships from the OT and the designers did a great job... the details in some parts are amazing! Quote
Enilder Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 I have a quick question to OP. You said you "lifted" the top lid and had an access to LEGO. Are these boxes for MF not sealed? I was a little bit confused when you said "lifted the top lid." I am just curious if it's possible for one to just take the certificate and sell it as "new" if there aren't any seals. Thanks in advance Quote
TerranCmdr Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 There are 8 individual pieces of tape that keep the lid on the box. Easy to overlook I suppose. Anyway, sounds like it's pretty well sealed. Quote

TerranCmdr Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 No probs. *Goes back to drooling over Falcon pictures* Quote
whiterice Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Just a quick question for any of the UCS Millenium Falcon owners... I just got mine this weekend and want to build it, but how easy is it to move? How sturdy is it in regards to moving it? I have the ISD 10030 and its scary to move that thing, and before I spend countless hours building my falcon, I want to know if I should just hold off until I have more room for it. Quote
messiah1 Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Does anyone have a link to the instructions for this? The links on the LEGO site say the file is corrupted. I'd really appreciate someone providing this. I've searched the intertubes and all the links go to the LEGO site. I'm hoping someone got them before it got corrupted. Quote

LINK This is from brickset.com, I downloaded a copy from there last week, although you should know the file is quite large If I had the money or the space, I would have got this set, the greebling alone would be worth it I wonder what Lego's next huge set is going to be? I got luckier than I can even imagine with this puppy. When LEGO S@H had their May 3-4 Star Wars sale, I jumped on the site as soon as the sale started. Somebody screwed-up HUGE, because all of the prices for 'sale' items were how much the markdown was, NOT what the finally price should be...so...instead of getting my Falcon for $170 OFF, I got it for $170 CDN! I should have bought TWO. LOL! Quote

nesquik Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 (edited) It blows my mind how people can even design something as detailed as this model. When you see for yourself how all those large and small plates interlock to create just one panel, you can only hold your hand up and applaud the designers. £342 is a lot for any Lego model, but when you consider how much research, testing and trial-error goes into something like this, the price can always be justified. PaulBaldowski Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I'm so excited I just might wee myself... What a HUGE model. I'm stunned by how thick that manual is! Quote
legotrader Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 It's a shame that the price to obtain one of these beauties is, well, unobtainable :) I still think this is the best, and most detailed set ever created by LEGO. By far the best Star Wars set. Quote
