Hi,

My name is Sebas, I'm 38 and still love to build stuff since I was 4. Having a son now who's also interested gives me a great excuse to keep on building! I have been into trains (also been doing a little of h0 modelrailroading through the years), city and technic but my son has me interested in pirates again. When I was around 9 the first pirate sets came out and I allways wanted to have the big vessels, but due to the fact I mostly collected city and technic I never got one of those epic ships like the BBB or SES.

And now, since my son went pirate, I'm in love all over again! He recently got the 70413 and now I'm hooked on chasing older ships like the Renegade Runner, Imperial Flagship and Spanish Armada. I'm trying to get them at a reasonable price and complete them if neccesary. The bigger ones are out of range considering most collectors prices out there, but never say never. I allready saw some great mentions about 'bricklinking' the recent Imperial Flagship and other great stuff. Also searching a lot on the second hand market and hoping to find some here as well maybe.

Most of the time and money is now spent on sets and playing with my son, but from time to time I finish a MOC myself. My style is TLG like, but a little cleaner and more detailed or so I hope. I will post some of my latest builds in the next few days. Thanks for your support and advise in advance!

Welkom Sebas.

I'm also from the Netherlands luckily you have a son as an excuse for LEGO.

I have two daughters not interested in LEGO at all so all the LEGO I buy is for personal use..

You build MOC's in the pirate theme as well or in any theme?

Enjoy the website, Eurobricks is my favorite...

Welcome to Eurobricks,

Your son has good taste in LEGO, looking forward to seeing some of your pirate creations! I also never got an epic ship and am kinda making up for it too, have fun chasing the ships :-)

Hi Sebas, welcome to Eurobricks! Always great to see the Dutch community grow a little more. :classic: Enjoy the trains and pirate forum (and beyond )!
