Kman860 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Has anyone done a trailer for the Arocs yet? I've seen one or two, but they're just a copy of the back half of the arocs itself. I want to know if anyone has done a box trailer or lowboy, especially considering it has an obvious trailer hitch built in. Quote
Rishab N Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 (edited) Here's a nice one on Rebrickable http://rebrickable.c...-mercedes-42043 Edit: Nevermind, its based on the chassis of the set Edited September 28, 2015 by Rishab N Quote
Kman860 Posted September 28, 2015 Author Posted September 28, 2015 I don't mind if the chassis is based on the arocs, just looking for stuff that's not another dump trailer, that's a nice one though Quote
Saberwing40k Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Here's the thing, neither of those trailers would be something used with the Arocs, and they require a fifth wheel connection, something the Arocs does not have. At most, a real truck like 42043 would have a flat or drawbar trailer, so that it could tow a backhoe or small excavator. I haven't seen any specifically for the Arocs, but there have been many made for a truck of that scale. Quote
Kman860 Posted September 28, 2015 Author Posted September 28, 2015 Can you post a picture of what those trailers look like? Quote
aminnich Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 (edited) Here is an example of a drawbar trailer. I think this would be a great addition to the Arocs truck. Like Saberwing40k said, a drawbar trailer does not have a 5th wheel connection. I believe the picture of the drawbar is even connected to an Arocs. Nevermind, that is a Scania. I hope this helps Edited September 28, 2015 by aminnich Quote
Pat-Ard Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 It's not for the Arcos, because it's 25 studs wide. But with a little overdo it'll fit the Arcos. I prefer the scale of the Unimog... http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=111617#entry2260535 Quote
AndroTech Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Did you had something like THIS in mind? Quote

I have made a trailer for my MAN TGS dump truck, which has same axle setup as Arocs set. http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=108467 Quote

Edit: M_longer showed me it won't look stupid, it will look quite good. Did you had something like THIS in mind? If I was gonna do a dump trailer I think that looks better than what some people did by copying the chassis Edited September 28, 2015 by Kman860 Quote
