Brickus Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Hello, I was just cleaning my 10214 Tower Bridge set and noticed that many of the cheese slopes in the set are cracked. Has this happened to you on your set or other sets? Should I let customer services know and get replacements? What are your experiences with cracked pieces over time? Quote
CopMike Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Should I let customer services know and get replacements? Yes of course! They need to know that so you can get replacements and they can continue to improve the quality. Quote
Jern92 Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I'm building my brand new Tower Bridge next week. Here's hoping I won't have the same problem Quote
samlr Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Had the same problem with the SSD 10221 and the 1x1 modified with clip : http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=2555#T=C . 15 of them broke I called the customer service and they sent new ones for free :-) Quote
BrickOn Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 A lot of my cheese slopes are cracked, and many from new sets bought this year, it did not occur to me to get replacements... Quote
frog4gators Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 My biggest problems are/were with the masonry bricks. I had fifty (50) of them crack!!! LEGO sent me a package to send in the damaged parts and then quickly replaced them with new ones. LEGO's quality has been degrading fast. Quote
Milan Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 It is not so great to hear that. I have cracked lots of old white wheels, but they are really old (20 years), but on the other hand, I dont keep much stuff built for a long time. Hope Lego will keep the quality high(er). Quote
