Hi everybody, Meltdown/Nuke4Hire here. This Moc was built for the Bionicle subreddit contest (I'm Nuke4Hire on reddit) which is currently in the voting process. To make things easier for myself I'll just copy and paste the description from reddit: "I know what you're all thinking " /u/nuke4hire actually posted his entry before the final day, what is happening?" I thought I'd post my entry now in case I don't get the chance (hooray for being sick...). Anyways, I had a blast building Nythix. The pictures in my opinion turned out gorgeous for once, probably the best pictures of one of my Mocs ever taken. The theme for the contest was obviously Makuta so I thought I'd base this moc off of the Phantoka wave in particular. The colours look amazing in person, the purple and turquoise match so well together. There are a few details I added to the figure such as the scarf (Classic Castle fans should know what it is), a belt and some power cells on the back of her legs. Her weapons are unique as they are somewhat part of her body, these being her claws and wing/spikes. I hoped you all enjoyed looking at this moc, I'd be happy to take any questions and as always I'm open to criticism and suggestions. Good luck to all those who are entering this months contest, it's going to be a challenge to choose who to vote for"

Thanks for taking a look!

Thanks! The helmet does look great, I based it off of the old Batknights from classic castle sets, she even uses one of their capes for a scarf.

I'll be honest, this MOC doesn't initially strike me as a Makuta. It's not anything you did wrong, it's just that Nythix is much more bulky than her 2008 counterparts.

However, I quite like it. The combination of large and small parts come together to make a cohesive and intimidating figure. The teal(?) blades stick out a lot because they're the only parts in that color, but you're right, they match the purple well. Well done!
