Questions about Knights Kingdoms big figs

Hi all,

Looking for info on some Knights. I have been thinking about getting some Knights Kingdoms figs, the big ones. I've never seen them apart from eBay pics.

I have some questions about them though. Can the heads come off so I can use them in Mocs? And are the shields durable or are they thin soft plastic?

Are you refering to these large knights? The head held on by a blue technic pin. The shields were cardstock like playing cards, if I recall

The heads do come off and can rotate freely. The shields of the ones from 2004 are cardstock, about the same thickness/sturdiness as a trading card, but the shields of the 2005 and 2006 ones are hard plastic with the animal patterns molded into them in three dimensions.
