So, I was thinking about some possible Toa motifs that I think would be pretty cool for future waves. I wonder what you guys think.

Idea 1: Bird themed (Think Gatchaman)

Tahu: Eagle of Fire

Kopaka: Condor of Ice

Onua: Owl of Earth

Pohatu: Ostrich of Stone

Lewa: Hawk of Jungle

Gali: Swan of Water

Idea 2: Animal themed

Tahu: Dragons/Lizards

Kopaka: Tigers/Wolves

Onua: Dinosaurs/Moles/Gorillas/Rhinos

Pohatu: Armadillos/Rhinos/Cheetahs

Lewa: Birds/Insects

Gali: Fish/Sharks/Dolphins

Idea 3: Swapped Elements (Same powers as before, but different environmental armor)

Tahu: Ice (Bulky knight-like build)

Kopaka: Fire (Sleek ninja-like build)

Onua: Air (Agile build with wings)

Pohatu: Water (Similar to the Mahri)

Lewa: Earth (Bulky, low build with an axe shovel)

Gali: Stone (Bulky, yet fast build)

So, what do you guys think about these? Do you have any ideas for possible future waves? Please share if you do.

The next wave pretty much covers what you mentioned when the creatures and toa "unite" so I wouldn't bet on having more animal themed waves after this one for a long while.

It seems more likely to have something that is influenced by Nexo Knights because so far 2015 recycled ideas and themes from Ninjago and 2016 seems to do the same from Chima. + I it would make sense for Lego to try and unify the action themes more.

I'd like to see Toa with transformable companions/weapons, like the Targetmasters of Transformers or the mini-robots of Exo-Force in the Jungle Mission arc.

Something else I'd like to see would be minifigure Toa with CCBS vehicles and/or mounts. But not mechas; we've had enough of that in Ninjago and IFB, and they seem too futuristic in this setting anyway.

EDIT: Or Toa that actually seem to be made from their elements, like the Element Lords of G1.
