dmarvin Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 So this will include the Batman series minifigs from before the Super Heroes theme? It claims to profile "over 200" DC minifigs even though the combined total of Super Heroes figs for Marvel and DC combined is only at 211 currently. But since this is still 7 months away, there's time to add the BvS figs and 66 BatCave ones, among others. My only wish for the exclusive is that's it's not a variant of Batman or Superman (unless it's something awesome like a George or Christopher Reeves Superman).
ultron32 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Ooh cool. I would guess it will be a variant unfortunately, although it could be a very recognizable character like Reverse Flash.
tafkatb Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) And Marvel has still yet to get one... That would be owing to licensing issues with Dorling Kindersley, so don't hold your breath on that one. Anyway, my money's on a ridiculous Batman variant. Edited September 23, 2015 by Tragic Banjo
TheBatstan Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 About damn time! The first one is outdated on so many things now, I wonder what the minifig will be?
Robianco Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 That would be owing to licensing issues with Dorling Kindersley, so don't hold your breath on that one. Anyway, my money's on a ridiculous Batman variant. It would probably be an Iron Man variation for Marvel anyway! ;) Rainbow Batman perhaps? https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ZnhwX3rAKgI/hqdefault.jpg Wouldn't surprise me too much if they did!
Sir Gareth Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) Doesn't this belong in the DC 2016 thread? Don't see why it needs its own... Edited September 23, 2015 by Sir Gareth
Bricky Dee Williams Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Composite Superman would be beautiful!
agoodfella77 Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 That would be owing to licensing issues with Dorling Kindersley, so don't hold your breath on that one. Any more detail on this?
Vindicare Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 It would probably be an Iron Man variation for Marvel anyway! ;) Rainbow Batman perhaps? https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ZnhwX3rAKgI/hqdefault.jpg Wouldn't surprise me too much if they did! But, in this case, I think most would be happy to get an Iron Man variant. So long as its new. More suits, the better!
barneynedward Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 I saw the book on amazon. The minifig is a Pirate variant for Batman.
Captain Nemo Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 I saw the book on amazon. The minifig is a Pirate variant for Batman. This is true. That being said, this book is already being discussed in DC 2016 set Rumors and Discussion, so we don't need to dig up those old thread.
