Roflpain Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Hello, I'm new to this forum, I used to be a huge lego fan but I kept it resting a few years. Now it starts itching a little bit again. And I was looking on the internet for a good community and i think i can find it here. I do have a question and I gonna leave it here, maybe i should post it somewhere else but i dont know where. So you can reply if you like. I am looking for big lego constructions. The biggest and most challanging i can find are lego technic but those are not very "big". Is there a way or a website where you can find costum made structures/building/cars/..... and then order the pieces on another website and construct it on your own. Like one big huge puzzle. Thx and cya later. Quote
Milan Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Welcome! Regarding your question: technic is theme with one of the biggest sets, if we are talking about part count. Yes, there are people that make big models, both technic and non-technic that you can buy instructions, or even buy complete model. So, what theme would you like? Quote
dr_spock Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Welcome to EB. You could try Rebrickable.com for other models and instructions. Quote
6ix Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Welcome to the forum. The Creator line has / had some very big sets. There is also a rumored Ghostbusters HQ set coming out in January, with some 4000+ parts. As for the Technic sets, specially the flagship sets like the Mercedes-Benz Arocs, they have a big number of parts but probably half of them is connector pins ;-) But I would definitely give that Arocs a closer look if I where you. It's a fantastic set and great building experience. It will take you multiple nights. I think it took me some 10 or 12 hours, if not longer. Quote

Roflpain Posted September 19, 2015 Author Posted September 19, 2015 Thx for the replies guy. I think I gonna start with the Mercedes Benz Arocs, and then look a bit on rebrickable and keep an eye on ghostbustersHQ next year. I gonna check out the forum a bit more. Thx and have fun with the lego's. Quote
6ix Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Start with building the dump bed first, then the cabin. The instructions have you build the dump bed last, but it's the most unimpressive build. Quote
