LuxorV Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Hello everybody, I wanted to open this tread this morning, but could not upload the pics on BS... |-/ Well, this time I present you the Red & White Giant (I know, not very imaginative name :-| ). It's a patrol-defense robot built to fit a minifig in its torso. The lines are quite straight and essential, but it was my first try with something this size... 8- Quote
Asuka Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Cool color scheme, nice head, beautiful arms and a great weapon! A decent work indeeddly! *y* Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 (edited) That was amazing! I don't know how many people you had to kill to make so good.... "Can we have a meeting that doesn't involve digging up a rotting corpse?" EDIT: WOOT! 300 posts! Edited September 24, 2007 by Lieutenant Colonel Thok Quote
iamded Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Great job! Looks like the kind of bot that could level a forest in half an hour. :-D I like that it can fit a minifig inside, and the colour scheme is great, with a, er, very fitting name! X-D Awesome mech. *y* *y* Quote
Interlink Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 You know what name would suit him? Berries and Cream! Berries and Cream! Still good work, and I like his gun, his little fingers, and his chest circle. Berries and Cream Super Robot! Quote
LuxorV Posted September 25, 2007 Author Posted September 25, 2007 Asuka & iamded: thank you both :-$ Interlink: Berries and Cream Super Robot... nice name *wub* ! Makes me want a lollipop or gum right now :-P Lieutenant Colonel Thok: I usally try not to kill people *skull* "Can we have a meeting that doesn't involve digging up a rotting corpse?" What?!? *wacko* Quote
Siegfried Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 You don't see mecha built like that much these days. When I was a boy I built a Voltron like that. I like it.... aside from the name! How posable is he? That is a prety serious gun too! :-D Quote

How posable is he? That is a prety serious gun too! :-D Thank you, it was my first try for a big mech! :-$ Oh, I liked Voltron very much. Was your Voltron made of the 5 detatchable lions liked together or was it just one-piece? He can move arms and legs in the sagittal plain only, no lateral movement; and hands can rotate, as well as forearms. The gun was merely inspird by the Fire Vulture flamethrower... just a bit larger :-P LuxorV Quote
Siegfried Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Oh, I liked Voltron very much. Was your Voltron made of the 5 detatchable lions liked together or was it just one-piece? I made both the Lion Force and the Vehicle one, and all parts were detachable. I recall they were good, but I was about 10 at the time so they may have been horrid. :-P Kids are so lucky today with cheap photography. :'-( Quote
Batbrick Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 That is an excellent robot there Luxor V *sweet* *y* *y* ! And I love the well-chosen name too! :-P I like how the man fits into the chest, and the weapon it holds looks great, especially in the 4th pic with dark lighting *skull* ! It looks pretty posable, but my only gripe is the head, I keep thinking a guy is meant to sit on that seat! *wacko* A great robot in all then! *y* TTFN! >:-) Quote
