Corydoras Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 The concept is ok, but as a LEGO purist I can't help but notice the stand is built almost entirely from poor quality knockoff bricks. Quote
Mr Man Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 I can't see from that angle but are the wings resting on the floor (or oven in this case . Quote
r5-j2 Posted September 15, 2015 Author Posted September 15, 2015 Yep gilty to the knock-off bricks , no the winglets do clear the deck (I mean hob! ) Quote
MontyPython Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 If you replace those with the real ones, it's going to be a quite nice stand... Quote
sigpro Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 I lend you 9 landing pads in my imperial base! Refuel service and comfortable facilities for the pilot. Just bring some smoked salmon :) Quote
ecmo47 Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Not sure you should park it on the stove! Quote
r5-j2 Posted September 15, 2015 Author Posted September 15, 2015 Thanks <I just didn`t have any large pukka parts to hand; Quote
r5-j2 Posted September 15, 2015 Author Posted September 15, 2015 Thanks for the kind offer Sigpro, but now I`ve got the Lego bug, I don`t see myself being able to afford salmon ever again (would you settle for sardines?)............... Quote
Smitty500 Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 That glossy stove top and tile make a fancy imperial hanger! Quote
sigpro Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 You are welcome anyway, with or without salmon, sardines, or...whatever you want. Visit the base (if you haven´t yet) and you´ll see. Have you considered upgrading the Tie by enlarging the panels? Best regards. Quote
meowmachine Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 As a star wars purist, I would have liked to see a TIE rack in a hangar bay. Quote
r5-j2 Posted September 18, 2015 Author Posted September 18, 2015 It sucks, doesn`t it!!.................................. Quote
Mr Man Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 It sucks, doesn`t it!!.................................. They builds fine in its structure, it really just needs different bricks. Quote
Brick Capone Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 The.. non-lego is hurting my eyes! Quick, remove it before we fall apart like Lego guys! Quote
YellowCorvette Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 (edited) The.. non-lego is hurting my eyes! Quick, remove it before we fall apart like Lego guys! I don't have any problems with other users that use bootleg parts in their MOCs. Of course as a lego purist, you will never like to let the bootleg parts ruin your MOCs, but you cannot judging other users because of the bootlegs(or knock-offs) parts that in-coperate in their MOCs. You need to understand that althrough that all users in EB here are all interested in lego, but not all the users here have enough money to buy parts made by TLC. Judging other users with knock-off parts in MOC is not fair, in my opinion. It sucks, doesn`t it!!.................................. No, the model is good. The model itself is nice. It's simple and classic, but looks good. For me, Lego models is what you made it. It doesn't care whatever you use knock-off parts or not. Edited September 19, 2015 by ArmstrongYong Quote
