Breakdown Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 So . . . . I just visited a couple of the lego pick-a-brick walls this weekend and this caught my eye. They had both of these models on display, so I used my "filler bricks" and got a couple of cup fulls and this is what I ended up with. The outside layer is "Pick-a-Ball" and the inside layer is "Pick-a-Ball Jr." The first location I was at was completely out of purple 4 X 1 plates, the second wasn't as it wasn't displaying these models. Pick-A-Ball only needs: 120 purple (or any colour) 4 X 1 plates. 120 green 1X2 + 1X2 green hinges 30 2 X 1 modified double clip green plates. 30 2 X 1 modified bar clip green plates. It's incredibly simple and fun to build. Pic doesn't do it justice. Pick-A-Ball Jr. is inside of my PIck-A-Ball and is essentially the same, but is an 8-sided ball of 3 X 3's instead of a 12 sided ball of 5 X 5's. Can't take the credit for this one, but I regress . . . it's an excellent use of otherwise annoying bricks from the Pick-A-Model section of these walls. Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Wow that's actually pretty cool! Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 This is really cool! I don't think any of the pick a brick/model bricks are annoying! This is indeed a great usage of those parts! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
brickbuilder711 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I should stop by my store and build them one of these lol. Quote
novareb Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Wow. Just wow. Can you add a separate picture of the smaller one? Quote
