Indiana Jones Vig: Ark of the Covenant Ceremony

Hello, here is my latest indy creation: the ark of the covenant ceremony! It is a classic vig, on an 8 x 8 baseplate. I put some spirits in it, too, and I used bananas for details on the ark. I just love clever uses on bananas! :-D Enojy:

The exploding head is hilarious, great technique! Here's a little trivia fact for you; during the initial viewing of Raiders for the MPAA, it was set to be rated R for the single exploding head shown in clear view. Spielberg did not favor this and decided to obscure the image behind a column of fire to achieve a rating of PG (there was no PG-13 at the time it was released). Maybe you should so the same, Sir Nadroj! :-P We don't want any graphically explicit ABS plastic bricks, now do we? ;-)

Lovely little vignette overall, with the perfect amount of detail. I like that ark to. *y*

Thats really funny that you suggest that! I was thinking of doing Willy with a monkey head in front of her. Or a snake, or beatles....uhhhh. Actually, chilled monkey brains do not sound so bad, but I love game (rabbit, pheasant, deer, duck, etc.) ;-)

Great moc, I always disliked this scene, because it was so bloody, gore and destructive as the political system the bad guys support. But in Lego it is nicely done. The Angel of Death is nice. :-)

This is great! Love the use of the bush, and the way the ghosts rise into the air is sweet.

I reckon with a bit of backlighting to illuminate those spirits, it would be even better!

I like the way the red plant shows his head exploding. when i was younger and watched dragonball z, i used that plant to put on a guys head for super sayan mode. XD
