As this MOC (and his accompanying subMOCs minions , Sixgun ,Scamper and Slammer) took me bout 3 months to complete. My Metroplex is an fairly articulated transformer ,turning into a mobile battle station and a base. MOBILE BATTLE STATION 8 wheels is not enough . I have to implement 2 more hidden wheels at the center of the vehicle for me to roll it back and forth without scraping the surface. One notable transformation step is 2 of the back wheels detaches and folded up to for the back mounted cannons in robot mode. ROBOT MODE BASE MODE The above shows how the chest unfolds to form the helipad, and the right arm is shifted to the back to form the tower. sixguns various components /guns can be connected to the base mode to weaponize it.
