[MOD] Several City mods

I had recently received many new Lego sets, and after building a number of them, I have done what I always do. MOD them to fit my ideas & Legoverse. Several of these I had before I moved, but my collection was already moved to the new house so I couldn't mod. I'm not as hardcore, so these will only be simple mods compared to the others I've seen.

Lets start with the Police Station 60047...

MODS:

• I have added an additional floor, and increased capacity to 8 for general population, and 2 solitary cells for a total of 10 prisoners. I have only kept one trap door that is above the garage.

• Garage height increased 2 more rows to allow the Prisoner Transporter (60043) could fit in the lower garage. This MOD required some work to be done on the catwalk, as well as offices.

• Minor structural improvements to the offices. I added a blue column on the 2st and 2nd floor at the inside corner.

• The lower jail floor is the only one where the bars are quick disconnect, rest of the floors' bars are locked in.

• Relocated the dish to the top of the prison at the highest point. Clear view of the sky. Also added some minor roof clutter.

• Prisoner Transporter (60043) floor has been modified significantly. I did not like how the floor was open, so I cleaned up the floor, and can now fit 3 prisoners in the vehicle. It will be modded again because it gets stuck on the ramp due to the low bottom, but fits with care. I have also locked the bars on the side so they don't fall off.

The police Station is the only one I currently have pictures of.

I don't have a lot of the pieces that are now more common. My original Lego collection consisted of Lego from the early 80s onwards to some of late 90s. I had only recently gotten back into Lego and like the 6 wide vehicles. I had also bought an 18 gallon bin of Lego from a moving yardsale for $50 (and got another 76 minifigs). Normally I *know* whats in my collection during builds, but not anymore. My collection is minimally sorted.

I had also modified the Fire Station (60004) and made garage #2 the same length as #1 to accommodate Fire Truck 60002 which as also been slightly modified. The chief parks outside, or at home.

I have the entire new Arctic theme, and have done a handful of light mods to the buildings to make their elevation coloring more matched.

That's it for now. I have many other mods. One day I will have a city to place them in, and that's when my old Legoverse will once again live as a Legoverse.
