GandalfofHoth Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 I've been trying various ways to do it but, Blender won't work because the lightwave convertor is an .exe file, and POVray won't work because it's only supported on a PowerPC Mac, I know there must be a way out there, but I can't seem to find it, can somebody please tell me how I can render my my bricksmith files (.ldr)? deraven Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Short answer, but this may be all you need: Open the LDR/LXF file with the Mac version of LDView (here: http://ldview.sourceforge.net/ ), and export to a POV render file from there. Then you can use the Mac port of POV-Ray (there are ports here that work on modern Macs, though I haven't tried it since I upgraded to Yosemite) to do the actual render (available here: http://megapov.ineta...unofficial_mac/ ). Umbra-Manis Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 You can also us BlueRender I use it all day on my mac. Bluerender is currently LDD only. For .ldr try LDraw2Sunflow. Quote
