What happened to Iomedes?

Hello,

I believe that lot of you might have heard of Sylvian Ballivet aka Iomedes, great Lego master builder. Ever since I found him via pictures of his fabulous recreation of Erik Varszegi's giant Venator Star Destroyer and discovered his other fantastic creations, he belongs to the narrow top 10 of my favorite lego builders. I was especially excited about his project of even bigger Venator. He used to be active on his mocpage, facebook and flickr and kept creating new models on regular basis till the middle of 2014. I haven't seen anything from him ever since - no new creations, no message on his websites, nothing for over a year.

Perhaps he had some reasons to stop what he was doing and maybe it's not my business to know, yet I'm being really curious about what might have occured. I'm desperate to know whether I can look forward for more outstanding creations from this master builder. Does anyone have any information that is not strictly personal or confidental?

I remember Lomedes. Such an outstanding builder. You should know that this kind of stuff is pretty typical. Some years people will be super active while others go dormant for a while because real life takes over. I just recently heard from a friend I haven't seen any posts from in a year. These things come and go. Lomedes will be back, I'm sure. So don't work up a panic ;)

My curiosity wasn't by any mean an attempt for working up a panic :) I was hoping that someone might have some info rather than guessing. Otherwise I agree and I also believe that he might have just got busy with other stuff and return once it's possible.
