SearchFunction Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Some quick Bluerender renders of a project in the works. I like panels as doors, but I also like cheese wedges to shape the wheelwells. Which option do you think look better? Panels: Doors: The biggest visual difference beeing that the panels are 1 plate lower than the doors. I am leaning towards the normal doors, but not entirely sure. The panels almost seems too large for this little build. Quote
A Gallifreyan Cat Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 In my opinion, the doors look much better. They don't have the gap in front and they have handles. Quote
dr_spock Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Also wheel well looks better with the cheese slope. Quote
A Gallifreyan Cat Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Is that based on a real car? It looks great! Quote
emilstorm Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Car doors, always car doors! Nice design by the way :) Quote
THERIZE Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) With slopen! Edited August 25, 2015 by THERIZE Quote
SearchFunction Posted August 25, 2015 Author Posted August 25, 2015 Allright sounds like thats settled then, doors it is : ) . Thanks for the help everyone. Is that based on a real car? It looks great! Not really no. Its supposed to be a hatchback though. Quote
Ron Dayes Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Great looking project. Allthough its decided, im really fond of your panel use;) for this rather small hatchback doors are the better solution...but for a sportscar with long wheelbase you could combine cheese piece plus functional panel maybe? Just a thought, many greets, ron. Quote
